Is it possible to represent a net roll?

Hi all

Everything is said in the question, I have a piece to design whose net will be rolled. As a rule, the thread location is machined smaller than the final diameter of the thread and then deformed. Following this operation, the diameter increases, so I wanted to know if there was a tool or a trick to represent this.

You would need a swept removal of material and a swept etrusion I think (one way or the other)

Hello

I'm not sure I understood, but a scan of the net profile in a spiral should do the trick right? At worst, use a parameterized curve?
