Is it possible to configure SolidWorks to force it to use all the power available on my machine?

Hello

I noticed that SW was loading the cores of my CPU one by one. I was wondering if it was possible for the software to distribute the tasks over the entire processor.

Thank you in advance for your answers.

There was another very well-informed @Zozo_mp but impossible to get your hands on it.

Hello

To complete the link indicated by @sbadenis  ;-)

There is this link in the same vein https://www.lynkoa.com/forum/solidworks/quand-une-vraie-utilisation-des-processeurs?page=1#answer-972983

I offer you as an attachment a PDF document that I wrote some time ago and which would deserve to be updated because the versions from 2019 to 2021 have progressed a lot, especially for the display of large to very large ASM

But for the most part what is written seems to me still valid since Solidworks has not been completely rewritten ;-)

Kind regards

PS: if other people want to amend or complete it, we could make it a collective document because this subject comes up regularly.  ;-)
