General surface finish

Hi all

For some time now, I've been looking for how to insert the parentheses for the different surface finish indication in the drawing (see example attached). In the "Surface Finish" tab in "Annotation" there is a lot to set your symbol but I can't find anything in particular for the general symbols. Does anyone know where this section is? (Nothing found neither in SW's "Help" nor on the internet)

For the precision I am under SW 2020.

Thank you in advance and have a good end of the day ☺

Hello@gt22

So I had indeed come across this section of the Help but it's the way to add the default symbol, so the one in parentheses, that I can't find. Can you tell me where he is?

Hello

I'm in SW2017

You have to go to the options in the file -->  Trim standards -> Surface finish -> Select the GOST standard

In your surface finish note, check Add Default Symbol Option

It is possible to add the symbol in the library. Via right click add to library

Kind regards

Hello@YP69

Thanks for the tips ! Unfortunately, if I want to follow the ISO standard, the symbol in parentheses should not be below the bar of the other symbol. I'll continue with macros.

Thank you and a good end of the day:)
