PDM file states

Hello

I'm simplifying my workflow in PDM, and I have states that existed before, but no longer exist in my simplified flow.

So that's my question, can we force the files in the state in question to integrate the new stream? Or should I put this state (useless today) back in my feed?

Thank you in advance @ all.

Eric

I'm not an enterprise PDM specialist, but I know it's possible with a macro!

And maybe with the Axemble MyPDMTools http://www.mycadservices.com/store/fr/apps/mypdmtools.html utility, that's possible too!

Hello

If you have kept the original workflow, the easiest way is to create a second flow (the new one)  and make connections between the old and the new flow.

It seems to me that in your WF you can't delete states (unlike the transition) that are in progress in your EPDM vault.

Instead of modifying your WF, personally I would have made a new one (simpler), then in the existing WF via a manual or automatic transition after the VALID state I would have added "a workflow link" to my new WF.
