2D Static Study - Meca3D

Hello

I have a set subjected to a load, so I'm trying to find out the forces in the connections.

I would like to do a static study in 2D to make it simpler because I have to do several static studies. I thought about using Meca3D but since I have 2D diagrams I can't put the mechanical connections. If someone could tell me how to use Mecha3D in a sketch assembly or if there are other solutions, it would save me a lot of time.

Thanks in advance

You do the same thing as on paper, but in a sketch. Segments as solids, well-chosen sketch constraints between these segments for the connections, other segments (in construction to differentiate them) for your force vectors, some equations between the different dimensions and you should be fine.

Add text to your side to identify them, pay attention to your units.

Do you have a diagram of your system?

Hello @davit27srg,

In the attached zip, the example of a simple mechanism processed in "schematic" mode with Meca3D (2018 version), and an explanatory text.
