I transform sats from solidworks into 3D DWG without any problem via Draftsight without any problem.
But when retrieving this DWG, this one is monochrome!
Is there anything you can do to recover those initial colors?

Hello
If I summarize, do you save a part in sat in solidworks, then you open it on Draftsight to turn them into 3D DWG?
From there, your file is "monochrome".
Do you mean that your solidworks sketches were colored?
Yes indeed the sketches in solidworks are colored and these colors disappear after the export in Draftsight when retrieving the DWG
Hello
And if you open your .sat directly in Autocad, what happens?
PS: For autocad to accept to import the .sat, it must not be generated in V22 (option at registration)
Hi @mbourreau
See this link

that gives the answer to your problem
@+ ;-)
The problem is not the import, it's to have the sketch lines colored as drawn on Sw.
In my opinion, it is not possible.
The ACIS format (.sat), apparently makes these colors jump.
I really don't see what format could keep these colors.
If you put your SW sketches on layers, draftsight retrieves those layers?
If it works, all you have to do is assign a color to each layer.
Hello
When you open the ACIS in SolidWorks, are the colors like these?

Re
I did the test a priori the ACIS export of SolidWorks does not keep the colors of the geometries.
