Hello

I think you will have to go through SW Simulation to create meshing first and then export to Ansys.

Thank you for yours answers and links.

In fact, I don't have Ansys WorkBenck or Ansys MultiPhysics to import IGS files to Ansys. I would like to know if I can Import Geometry 3D from Solidworks to Ansys 12.1 Mechanical Prepost (my licence)? It is possible?

Thank you for your Help.

If yes, How can I do that please?

Just try to save as IGES in SolidWorks, and try to open it in Ansys.

Yes, I tried but Ansys doesn't keep the geometry...:/. As on a picture

You can try to merge your bodies in SolidWorks, but it won't probably fit your goal...

But there is maybe an option in SolidWorks IGES export to keep all the bodies. Did you look for that?

Or try to export to other formats that Ansys could open :

STEP or even SLDPRT which is SolidWorks part file. Did you try to import that one in Ansys ?

Hello

I think I had this problem when I used Ansys some years ago. You have to modify your IGES settings in SW and/or Ansys so that all origins are not placed on Ansys main coordonate system. I'm sorry but I can't remenber the correct settings.

Ok, Thank you for your help!  Never Mind Chamade.

.PL I looked for it but it doesn't work. About the STEP file, I don't have the licence Required. Thank for yours answers.
