Bulk export of Solidwork files to Catia V5, what are the solutions?

Hello

I would like to export several hundred Solidworks files to Catia V5. These are Assy, Part and DWG. Are there any simple solutions other than saving as...

Thank you.

Hello

This can be done with the SolidWorks Task Scheduler to a neutral format such as STEP or IGES:

http://help.solidworks.com/2014/french/solidworks/sldworks/c_solidworks_task_scheduler.htm

Otherwise, BatchConverter is a tool developed by Axemble, but it is not free.

Otherwise, it can be done by a macro, if you know VBA programming.

An example for a STEP export: http://www.3dcontentcentral.com/macros/macro.aspx?id=209295

I agree @.PL the task scheduler should help. In addition, it is very simple to implement.

For BatchConverter it is certainly paid but you are entitled to 50 days of trial so you can use it for your file conversion. (I did it yesterday)

Just a remark, did you check that the import worked under Catia?

Maybe the new versions of sw no longer export a dead file...

the only answer to your problem I think is DATAKIT

@+ ;-))

The task scheduler made it easy for me to convert my files to STEP.

Plus, with SolidWorks it's free, no additional tools needed.

Thank you for your help.
