A customer sent me a step file. He created an assembly of parts under inventor, which then transformed into a step to send it to me.
I opened it in solidworks. I can delete/hide assemblies, or parts. I would like to recover some parts to be able to use them elsewhere. How to do it, because I don't have an option that allows me to do it.
Any idea?

the fact that your parts are inaccessible is probably related to 3D Interconnection(recognizable by the green arrow on the elements in the building tree).
or you can dissolve the 3D Interconnectfunction by right-clicking "dissolve function" on the head assembly (in your case "boost.stp set")
or, before opening your STEP file you go to the settings: Option/System Option/Import and you uncheck Enable 3D Interconnect.
