SW file export (step, iges....) keeping the tolerances of the base model

Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to export the tolerances defined in my 3D model in a step or iges file or other?

In step 242 it is possible to see this link:

Otherwise the other formats just export the 3D in neutral format and not the annotations (tolerances)

I never asked myself the question because I provide the DXF or SW files to the subcontractors with the 2D plans.

They seem to use the files without re-specifying the tolerances side by side, especially for CNCs.

Have I misunderstood the question?

Have I missed a step with the machinists?    Thank you for enlightening me otherwise I'll make an egg skull
