Export a Solidwork assembly to 3DS Max

Good morning or good evening, ^^

I would like to know with what format I can export a Solidworks assembly (500 parts/400 constraints) to 3DS Max while trying to lose as few details/references/constraints as possible etc...

For the record, I started a model on Solidworks for fun and I realized that I could integrate it into a video game as a mod. The problem is that the graphics engine plugin only works with 3DS Max, which is why I would like to know if it is possible and to what extent.

Hello

the most used and standard formats are STEP/IGS and parasolid .x_t but it is with STEP that you will have the best results.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. Are there any settings to adjust when recording in this format? and when you open it on 3DS?

I don't have access to 3DS yet, but I'll try it as soon as possible!

It's okay it works well (for the transition from SW 2016 SP3 to 3DS Max student version), I don't really know how to use 3DS Max yet but I'll try to get started.

I would have to reimplement all the constraints between the different objects. And that I find a way to install an external plugin.

In any case, thank you!
