Extract sketches from a volume

Hello 

I would like to know if it is possible to extract the basic sketches (let's say FACE, RIGHT, TOP) of a volume on SolidWorks?

My problem: I have a .part volume, scanned (without tree) and I don't have retro software. I'm trying to find tips and I'll be interested in your ideas and experiences

Hello 

Have you tried to take the intersection of a plane and the face of the volume from which you want to extract the sketch?

Sketch tab ==> Convert Entities or Intersection Curves

The first allows you to click a face and project it onto your plane, the other extracts the intersection of your solid with your sketch plane

Hello

If your part is a solid; you just have to right-click on the body and then you select FeatureWorks  then recognize the functions and there Solidworks will recreate a construction tree with all the functions it recognizes...
