Extrusions/Material Removals Non-Flat Surfaces

I've been struggling for a few days without any valid results. I shamefully treicle by creating surfaces on top of each other and adding material removals. In short, the creation of plans at all costs for not much.

I found a tutorial to "play" with surface, but it's in PDF... I need to see how to do it.

Solidworks 2015
