Is it possible to make a mechanically welded from a family of parts?

Hi all 

I created a basic profile in the format ". SLDLFP" for mechanical welding. What I want to do now, in a "Part" file, is first to create a sketch manually (e.g. a rectangle) and then to order the welded construction of the 4 sides of the rectangle with this profile but from a family of parts. Is this possible? And if so, what parameter should be entered into the part family?

I am a novice in the field and have found no help regarding a mechanical-welding from a family of parts.
