Room family and drawing

Hello

I know that you can insert a family of parts into a drawing.

But is it possible to choose the lines and collones to display for the drawing?

Because I haven't found anything about it, If anyone has a solution I'm a taker.

Hello

To edit a part family, go to the 3D in the configuration tab and right-click on the room family and choose "edit in a new window".

You arrive in an Excel file and you can choose the order of the columns (cut and paste), and you have to put the columns you don't want on the right (then see next point).

For the lines, a simple solution is to put them at the bottom (or top).

Then, go back to 3D, then choose "edit the part family" (but not in a new window):

Here we resize the table: it is exactly this table that will be displayed in the 2D!

Back in the 2D, if the update is not done, delete and reinsert the part family.

Otherwise, you can try to hide rows or columns in the Excel file by positioning yourself on the letter of the column or the number of the row and then right-click hide.

Where we can also try to do the same in the 2D:

But I'm not sure that this applies to the families of rooms.

Hello

Thanks for the tip,

It works but if you make a change in the part family you have to remember to delete and put back the new part family because it does not update.

Mistake on my part, you have to re-act the drawing and the update and automatic
