Hello
I followed an explanation for a family of plays
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGZTv99R4hE
now I don't know how to name MEPs in solidworks or how to organize MEPs
To work well in solidworks you need one MEP per part, right?
How can you create a piece
Variable length tube
Variable exterior diameter
for this tube we will always have the same file numbers ex SW-0000023 and its MEP SW-0000023
But how to "tell" the version to be machined to the mechanical subcontractor?
Yours truly,

In our house, we only make a plan for all the rooms with a table and replace the variable dimensions with letters and these letters are the titles of the columns of the table.
In the title block there is no code and we write SEE TABLE and the codes are in the table for each row.

the problem is that with EPDM then I have a different numbering
I no longer keep the incremental numbering of EPDM
Good evening
A question to help you find your way around: When is your incremental number assigned? To the registration in EPDM? In a WorkFlow step?
Does your configuration allow you to have one article number per configuration? Or is your article number your file name?

The number is added when I save this one
