I don't understand, you title simple CAM and you say you want a simple drawing software.

 

So what is your need, drawing or machining?

Drawing what?

To what end?

So it all depends if the workshop only wants to look at plans or 3D, or if they want to create parts, assemblies and make plans...

Hello DraftSight is a good 2D drawing software indeed, I advise you to look at the little guide I put in a tutorial on Lynkoa, where there are some tips:

Otherwise, for 3D there is SketchUp where there is a good tutorial on this site too:

Software to draw geometry, connection points

Support for the guys on the shop floor who do their programs on the keyboard

if you have your 3D drawing it is transmittable via the machine's software to translate it into the same language

so the part must be made in 3D at the beginning no
