Hello
I am looking for a solution for a productivity gain.
I make pieces that have the same base. These are so-called coupling cylinders.
That is to say a male square on one side and a female imprint on the other (flat, square or keyed bore).
These dimensions are based on two components that have assembled it:
-Actuator: Male part
-Valve: Female part.
What I'm trying to do is to be able to enter the information from the valve and the actuator and for it to generate my part and my plan.
Looking forward to your suggestions.
Nice day.
Xavier
Note: Examples are attached. Note that the female slot can be closed.

Hello
Look at Driveworks it should help you or else you can also use the parts families.

Hello;
or, probably simpler, the "Configuration Publisher". (more malleable than "Family of Rooms")
configuration_publisher
Otherwise, the Families of parts on the male and female parts are known and in limited quantities.
Part configurations and families
Kind regards.

Re
Thank you for your answers.
I'll look at Driveworksxpress,
The problem comes from the fact that the female part constantly changes from one valve to another. I'm looking to manage this.
The male part is "standard", it is defined according to a standard.

Question Why not work with Intelligent components
See this tutorial
http://www.lynkoa.com/contenu/composants-intelligents-2
you put your valve and your actuator
and the raw coupling part
It will adjust in car
via smart functions
bossing, removal of material, etc...
Maybe it's worth a try
