Hello
I don't know if I'm in the right place for this question^^'
Here I am looking for a software that allows to measure assemblies created with solidworks on a website where the site visitors would have the possibility to move this assembly or even to choose from different formats and see the changes in real time.
I thought about using Driveworks Pro but it has a purchase price that is way too high.
If you have any ideas I'm interested.
thank you in advance

Hello
There are ... LYNKOA!
You can put files on myCADplace (for 1€ per day I think).
Otherwise, the free version of Onshape.com allows you to have up to 10 files online.
Otherwise, there are also www.Grabcad.com !
And see also http://p3d.in/ and http://www.3dcontentcentral.fr/ or http://www.123dapp.com/

Then:
If it's for your site, you can integrate the edrawing module to make your 3d appear.
There is also the adobe acrobat pro solution that allows you to present 3d pdfs.
Next, Lynkoa must develop an in-house module to view the 3D files online.
Then you have the solution that for me is the best, it's driveworks but it's true that it has a cost....

Hello
you can save your assembly in 3D PDF and then put the pDF on the site.

for 3D pdfs I guess you have to buy adobe acrobate pro (I'd prefer to be increased instead ;-) )
you wouldn't have one to send me so that I can see what his gives and especially show it to the boss (it's still him who decides ^^)

In SolidWorks, simply press "Save As", choose the PDF type, and then check the "Save as 3D PDF" box.
But they cannot be viewed in an internet window!

It is possible with Sketchfab.com to include templates in a page (what is called embed):
Edit: it doesn't work on Lynkoa
See this link, and click on embed:

Hello
As @manu67 says, 3D PDF is a good alternative to native 3D software files.
On the other hand, it is impossible to change anything in the memory configurations.

ah not bad the 3D pdf but a bit of a hassle to rotate I think.
@.PL I'm going to test the site I'll tell you when it's done ;-)

Take a look at this catalog.
it's 3D pdf in some places.
And adobe acrobat is not that expensive... from 250€ to 600€ For a software, I think it's correct.

Hi all
There is also a tool developed by Visiativ that allows you to do this, it's called MyProduct and it's part of the MyCadServices Premium subscription offered by CadWare and Axemble.
Customer example: http://filair.fr/ there is a certain catalog on their site that uses this technology.

Hello
The myProduct solution from myCADservices Premium has been designed for this purpose

But suddenly the utility is integrated into the website? If the company already has an existing website, the MyProduct add-on is added to it?

Yes, MyProduct allows you to generate an Htlm tag that you just have to insert on a page of your website.
