Filetage R1/8"

Hello

To modernize a machine (plan dated 1999), I need to model some existing parts. On one of them, there are R1/8" threads (cylinder connection).

I know that there is a story of cylindrical and conical.
What is the "new" standard to use (and what do you choose in SW) to model it? I can only find G threads.

Hello

Apparently, it is indeed tapered BSP thread. See attached documentation.

For the representation in SW see here.

Have a nice day

I had also found this document, the problem remains that BSPT is not referenced in SW (I have gone through all the standards offered by the wizard for drilling and annotation "thread representation"), there is only G to propose (it is also indicated straight pipe), there is nothing conical.

See attached image for R1/8" tapping.

Hell, I had always stuck to the basic taps. I don't know what they called the function in English but "bored pipe tip", it doesn't remind me of tapping.
