Can you attach (screenshot) on which function (face, sheet, other...) Are you trying to apply this function?
Possibly this function cannot be thickened with the chosen function.

Hello and thank you all and sorry for the delay. As already mentioned, for a long time I have not received alarms from replies to my messages. Yes, you have to sew the surfaces first, and only then can you thicken a surface. It's still tedious, because you have to sew in several times.

Check, or retry the configuration of the following setting in your Profile>Preferences>Emails>" Send me an email when I'm quoted..." »
You can choose " Always ". And of course, Save Changes.
If it doesn't change anything, check that these emails don't land in your spam folder.
