Solidworks Locked Split Function

I just installed Solidworks Maker because I want to design casting molds. For this I need to use the split function but it is greyed out and I can't unlock it, do you have any idea what can prevent me from using the function?

Either the feature is not accessible from Solidworks for makers even though the attached screenshot seems to say otherwise:

Either a few things are missing to access the feature (a body, a sketch...) but without a screenshot it is difficult to answer like that.
