My goal is to place a machined part in another part file for specific processing.
The Merge/Inheritance Shared Data Insert function remains grayed out.

_tu have a pro/eng parts
_cette parts that are machined you want to put it in another part file to be able to make modifications on it
Why not open your basic part, modify it and rename it since you have made modifications to it?
_tu will have 2 distinct rooms

No I don't want 2 parts, the goal is to have a machined part and a part inherited from the first one, this part is metallized so the value of the part changes (height and width). No assembly file.
I think I'm missing options in ptcsetup such as pro-assembly to be able to access merge/legacy found in insert.

We have a 5 xe version and the feature is only included in the 5 ax version
