Hexagon drilling function

Hi all

I want to remove hexagonal material to position inserts. I was wondering if there was a solution like a drilling function with hexagonal shapes?

I have to position a lot of them and I'm looking for a faster solution than drawing them 1 to 1.

Thank you for your answers.

Hello

Not with the drilling function, but in the sketch tab there is an automatic polygonal creation, then you just have to do the material removal. See PJ

As an AS cobra for the 1st insert and for the repetition: repetition driven by a sketch

Or you can create blocks for each type of insert and bring them back and place them as you see fit.

Library functions are used for this: to standardize and avoid repetitive work. And since you can have configurations in the library functions, you can make multiple hexagon sizes and possibly multiple types of repeats in the same library function.

On the other hand, it's often a bit capricious. External references really need to be kept to a minimum.
