With SheetMetalManufacturing, I try to generate a drawing of each unfolded sheet metal, sorted by sheet thickness, with a specific basemap.
However, with the option " Group views by thickness/material on multiple sheets in a single file ", there is no background plan. While with the other checked-in options (" Group views into a single file " or " Group views by thickness/material over multiple files "), the specific basemap follows.
Do you have the solution to make the basemap display with the option " Group views by thickness/material on multiple sheets in a single file " checked?
First of all, welcome to our forum where I hope you will find answers to your questions. I also see that your company has a very specific activity on the safety of the risk of falls and everything related to footbridges, etc...
I hope you will come to see us from time to time to bring us your expertise on these subjects that are not as simple as they seem because the efforts during falls are formidable.
The community is above all rich in the contributions of each one. (can you expand your profile a little)
During these festive periods, we will have to be patient because many of our "MYs" are on vacation (some have taken the train, I don't know if we will see them again in time)
Indeed I reproduce the problem well. I have opened an enhancement request for this issue:
R&Dmy - Anomaly #162615
The "Group views by thickness/material on multiple sheets in a single file" option does not retrieve the basemap of the drawing template
Can you send me your email and name in order to attach yourself to the request.
Unfortunately, there is no workaround directly on SheetMetalManufacturing. However, once the plans have been generated with SheetMetal, you can use the Integration tool to add the desired basemap.
