Hello

 

I have to make "design" plant-type  railings  for a client (see visual)

Anyone have DWG or DXF patterns of this type for laser cutting ?

Unfortunately, your project enters the artistic field at this level. I doubt anyone would give you a design so you can make money from it.

After that, you are right to ask, nothing ventured, nothing gained .

Other solutions:

  • Assign a designer to make one or more custom patterns for you.
  • Have a surge of inspiration and try to do it yourself with (or without) software specialized in vector design.

I specify that I receive no commission on the paid ones!

But given the rather low price or the free models, it is worth offering several models via the image to your customer and then investing in the desired model.

You may not know but @flegendre is one of the best contributors to this forum with more than ten years of contribution and hundreds of people helped in a very, very relevant way.

Clearly, he is far from being a rookie  without counting what he does in his company.

For once he asks for something, we would be really happy to be able to help him.

Far from it the idea for me to be negative about it, it was not my intention. My apologies if I have made myself misunderstood.

I just thought it was good to underline, to be careful, to pay attention to what he might receive or use. A few euros spent to get the rights to use a design or commissioner a designer; are better than a copyright lawsuit, don't you think?

You can never be too careful at this level.

Thank you for your answers.

Here's how I did it:

  • I found a jpeg of the need on the internet
  • Converting JPEG to DXF via a small converter on the web (  https://convertio.co/fr/jpg-dxf/)
  • Integration into a SW sketch in a block
  • I played on the boulder scale to get closer to the odds 
  • I attach an example
