Generate a video on solidworks from an assembly

Hello.

I modeled a car, on Solidworks 2017, with a gullwing door opening. I would like to make a video showing the opening and closing of the said vehicle.
I don't know if solidwork motion does this kind of thing, I don't know anything about it yet. I really need your help. Thank you in advance.

Kind regards.

Otherwise, there are other methods such as using Animation (which even exists in Standard, without Motion).

There, you can make movements of some more parts in the assembly.

You can also use "Constraint Driver" which is not bad at all for moving parts.

Hello

You can also make a simple animated gif because producing a decent video with SW is particularly crappy because of the AVI and MPG4 formats. Half of the formats offered by SW are.

Otherwise I find "Pilote de Constraints" siganed by Alain :-) is  much better made than motion which I have never managed to use. Motion a real m...... totally illogical.

Hello to you.

Alan. ERP how to access constraint pilot ?

Hello

You just have to search in SW's help: http://help.solidworks.com/2018/french/solidworks/sldworks/c_assembly_mate_controller.htm

Thank you

In SolidWorks 2016, there is a mini tutorial in the task pane examples.
