Hello!
When I make a bend on a sheet metal (with the sheet metal module of SW 2016) the notch is positioned "material side"
I would like to know if there is a way to position the notching "fold side" (shift in the direction of the red arrow on my image)
without modifying the sketch , automatically ?
In advance, thank you for your answers!
Arnaud
Hello
I don't think this operation exists but you can reduce the width of your fold and above the radius make a small extrusion to get around the problem. That's how I do it. To change the width of the fold, you just need to edit the sketch of the fold.

Hello
No direct solution indeed.
Do the notching after the fold is made.

Hello
There is a solution but frankly it's not easy, it's faster to chew before the fold.
May the force be with you

The walkthrough is to create the notch before the fold
