Dressing a frame

Good evening everyone, and I refer again to the skills of the people of this fabulous Forum, during a welded construction, is there a property to dress a frame?

Let me explain: Example, can a rectangular metal frame in square tube be drawn on SW in such a way as to perceive either a teardrop sheet metal floor, or a wire mesh on this frame?

Thank you again to all of you.

Good night

Hello

The easiest way is to use textures, it's a rather well-stocked library.

May strength be with you.

Hello

You can use SOLIDWORKS skins, if you need to see through the face, you can use either the Link Chain in Steel skin or the Face: Drill Repeat Representationand choose the desired shape of the holes, in both cases, check the realview to see through the face you applied the look to.

Example attached

Hello

And I'll even add that you can download textures if you don't find what you're looking for  in those of SW (google is your friend) that you can add to your library.

Have a nice day

Thanks for the information.

I use textures a lot, so it's going to be very useful.

Yes, there is also the use of decalque which is  not bad to put a logo on a piece.

may the force be with you.

Hello Obi Wan, Mick, Fab, I had a big problem and could not use your answers, nor even have had the diligence to ask you to wait, and I apologize, today I am relaunching my CAO SW15 again to finally start off on the right foot.

Thank you to all of you and "forumers" lol

Thank you all for your patience, I focused on Mick, and by dint of laborious trying, I succeeded, thank you all sincerely.
