Hatching a sketch area in solidworks

Hello

How do  I blacken a closed outline in sketch mode in solidworks 2013?

I want to remind you that this is a 2d sketch to create 2d blocks.

Thank you for your help.

In the sketch of a 3D, you can't. You can only change the color of the lines.

On the other hand, if it's to color a part of a 3D surface, you can take this sketch and do Insert/Curve/Parting Line. This will give you a cutout in your face on which you can change the color.

If it's in a drawing, select your closed outline and do Insert/Annotation/Hatching (from memory).

Good evening @ cpidy

if it is to drown the contour and therefore the lines of the perimeter

the entire sketch must be constrained, so dimensioned and constrained via the origin

if it is to give a color to the inner area around the perimeter

The best is I think to create a very fine extrusion and color this piece to your liking

if it's for a drawing

Simply by using:

Inserting / annotations / hatched areas/filling

and selecting "plain" from the hatch properties on the left.
