On SolidWorks, can we customize the hatching patterns, i.e. create a pattern and then integrate it into Solidworks and have it in the possible choices each time the software is used? If so, what file format is required to use this pattern?

Ok I found it all on my own.
For those who are also interested in the subject, you have to go to the sldwks.ptn file and make your pattern.
To create your hatching configuration, it's explained in the header of the file.
