(HS)slowdown and crash

Hello

I don't know if you can help me, I ask the question, if I'm too much of a subject, I'll remove this post.

I have SOLIDWORKS 2016 which freezes mostly when drawing sketches.

I thought it came from my pc but apparently not because all the other software

operate accordingly in the following circumstances:
freecad, corel designate, SketchUp 8, sweet home and others,

So I deleted SW2016 and installed an older version, the 2013 and I have the same

The problem may be a matter of configuration or faulty hardware.

Where could this come from?

I attach my config as an attached file

Hello

I think from the config views that it's not really a pc suitable for modeling :-(

So not much to do about it, except to use another machine. or at best change the graphics card which seems to me to be sluggish.

Hello

Solidworks is certified functional with professional graphics cards (quadro series) and Windows 7 Pro. Home versions are not supported.

Otherwise try using Solidworks RX to check what can bother you.

Like my colleagues, your graphics card is not solidworks certified, it's a game card

or you change graphics card see card recommended on this page

http://www.solidworks.fr/sw/support/videocardtesting.html

or try a patch like here https://www.easytutoriel.com/comment-booster-votre-carte-graphique.html

without any guarantee of proper functioning

or you are looking for a second-hand card here http://www.materiel-informatique-occasion.com/cartes-video-occasion_86_0_0_0_p1-cX.html

You will find a quadro 2000 which in my opinion is a minimum at a price of 89.9 € second-hand outside port..... here... http://www.priceminister.com/s/nvidia+quadro+carte

A certified pro graphics card is a price range well above gaming cards

I made a solidworks RX and well apart from the graphics card it's not catastrophic.

In addition it works well on another less powerful pc, I attach the config on another post

As for the graphics card, the one offered here http://www.priceminister.com/s/nvidia+quadro+carte

THE quadro 2000 which in my opinion is a minimum at a price of 89.9 € in second hand is only 1GB while the one I have on the first pc in 2GB, isn't it annoying?

In addition, I need a low profile card, my case is that of a nec VL 360

Given your central unit I suggest you change your PC instead

Here are 2 addresses for info occase

You will find cheap and good textured graphics PCs for SW

These 2 sites are guaranteed very reliable x people on the forum have been customers and are delighted

http://www.materiel-informatique-occasion.com/stations-de-travail-occasion_147_0_0_0_p1-cX.html

http://www.microkdo.com/recherche?controller=search&orderby=position&orderway=desc&search_query=pc+graphique&submit_search=

for SW you need

a maximum of 3 Ghz processor speed mini

an SW certified card

a ram memory that goes hand in hand with your SW version

+ you go to the recent versions + you will need ram

the ram of a gamer and pro graphics card is not comparable for SW

As for the speed, my 2 pcs are at 3G, is it good then?

I'm at 8GB of dual ram, that's good too?

On the other hand, the graphics card is not great.

Moreover I don't intend to evolve and therefore stay at 2016, I already regret having dropped 2012 or even 2010, because for what I do, parts for 3D printing.

I myself stayed in 2012 and not unhappy

I will come back to this

Hello

Where I go back to 2012 or I switch to freecad, it requires much less resources and for what I do...

I found this one:

http://www.priceminister.com/mfp/5137529/nvidia-quadro-k600?pid=20521036...

apparently eligible for the 2016 version, so well for the 2013?
