Hello
This question is a curiosity, does anyone know what the dimmed component icons in the feature manager creation tree mean?? (CF Image attached)
PS: no need to give me this link, I've already looked at it ;) : http://help.solidworks.com/2012/French/SolidWorks/sldworks/Component_Icons_in_the_FeatureManager_Design_Tree.htm

Hello
And this one, did you see it:-D
http://help.solidworks.com/2010/french/SolidWorks/sldworks/LegacyHelp/Sldworks/Assembly2/Display_Pane_in_Assemblies.htm?id=5253e6399f3540d4b23e5ee74b15efde
There is a lot to be found in aid, isn't it?
The interesting part:
First of all:
Room color
A triangle in the lower right shows how the part will appear in the part document.
Change Color / Room Color
A triangle in the upper-left displays the replacement appearance specified in the assembly document.
Secondly:
For subassembly components, the display settings are stored in the subassembly's display state. The faded icons indicate the display settings applied to the subassembly or part document. If you change a subassembly parameter in an assembly, the icons change to a normal intensity color (not faded).

Hello That's because the color that's applied to your subset in the main assembly is the color of the subset!

The components are part of a subassembly inserted into your current main assembly.
And have not had any display changes (e.g. hide/show/color change/transparency) in the main assembly.
So I think this indicates that sw has not "loaded" his possible appearances...

There is no "professional SW helper " medal! We could ask for it to be created, I'm sure I have it! ;-)
After that, you just have to look hard!
