SolidWorks 2016 Icon

Hello

Are there people who still have the icons of SolidWorks 2016, those displayed in the Solidworks pdm quick start file cards (see attachment)?

If so, can you send me the corresponding .ico files please?

Thanks in advance

Possibly, do you know in which directory these files are stored?

A search on the C disk for *Sw*.ico files should find them I think.

Unfortunately, the search yielded nothing.

Hello @Silver Surfer ,

Very often, "icon" images are embedded as resources in the executable file or in the DLLs of an application.
For example, the 2017 version of SolidWorks offers 85 icons in the SLDWORKS.exe file. And a multitude in the dll...

An asset editor allows you to view and save them. The problem is to find out which file/dll these images are stored in, identify which one(s) you are interested in, and then have the courage to save them one by one.
Resource Hacker is a simple tool that is sufficient for this task. A Google search will allow you to find a download link...
