How to put a logo in a basemap without it taking up too much space
below are the sizes of the different files
DXF with logo 1.46mb
DXF without logo 48.5kb
Solidworks MEP with Logo 106.96kb
Solidworks MEP without logo 63.8kb
PNG logo image size 19.8kb

Open it in paint and re-save the logo, it should be less heavy and for the dxf make it in one block it will also be better.
Possible image format (although the png is already compact) but the interpretation by the software also plays a role.

You have to open the image under Paint/Photofilter and reduce the dimensions to the ones you want on your shot rather than importing a large image into the shot and reducing it later.
For example, my logo is 1500x1500 and on my plan I want it 10 times smaller, so I save it in 150x150 before importing it.
