Import DICOM file into SolidWorks

Hi all;

has anyone ever imported DICOM (Dgital Imaging and Communication in Medicine) files to SolidWorks?

I tried asking my Google friends but it seems to be drying....

Thanks in advance.

Hello

In my opinion you should transform the DICOM file into a classic image file (bmp, tiff, jpeg, ....).

Unless someone is a miracle solution...

Here is a software that allows you to read and transform DICOM files:

Hello

I found two free tools for STL conversion:

www.slicer.org

Or

www.itksnap.org

Thank you very much. I used itksnap with examples retrieved from the net. I just have to wait for the files from my supplier for the full-size test. Thank you for your responsiveness.
