Not quite, there are several mass "parameters" in CATIA:
1 In the file's properties (not accessible)
"Mechanical" tab for a CATproduct
"Ground" tab for a CATpart
2 Set the measured "Mass" if you keep the measurement.
This parameter can be used but not modified, it depends on the geometry and the materials.
Neither of these two properties can be controlled.
You need to create another "Mass" property in the file's properties.
It is very easy to record a macro to create this task.
