Imposing the weight

Hello.

I'm in the process of doing a model in which I integrate sets that are not from my home. I know the size and weight of the room... but it is complex, in multi-materials, etc.

So I was wondering if we had a way to force the weight of the piece (basically, make a simple slice and tell him "you, you're 60Kg")

Thanks in advance:)

Hello

Yes, you have to go into the room, into the ground properties, and replace the mass (and the center of gravity).

Excerpt from the help:

Assigned ground properties. Select this option to assign different values to the mass and center of gravity than calculated

Hello

Evaluate=> Mass Properties=> Replace Mass Properties=> Replace Mass=> Give Value!!

And there you have it.

Agree with @.PL's proposal, but be careful when you position your center of gravity !

If you use this info just for weight, no worries, but if you want to know the position of the CdG of the set in which you integrate it, you better ask your supplier for the XYZ coordinates!

Thanks for the answers guys. So simple when you know the trick^^

@Benoit.LF ... Well, yes, precisely. I need the center of gravity. But since it remains more or less balanced in the center, it should do it.

I can't put points/best answers to everyone. But the heart is in it
