Unable to release a borrowed solidworks license

Hello

One of our users borrowed a Solidworks license and could no longer release it.

 

It gets the message Unable to return the license of Solidworks Standard. The selected distributor's daemon is inactive.

Hello Is the computer well connected to the network? Can you ping the server address? There is no firewall that blocks access?

Hello.

I had this kind of problem a few years ago. The solution is to restart your license server.

That said, when it comes to licensing, I strongly advise you to contact your HotLine!!

The support told me what to do.

We have reactivated the license on the license server.


Then we deleted the borrow key in the database of the client workstations

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/FlexLm license manager/ delete the borrow key
