Unable to open solidworks

Hello

I am a student and I downloaded the student version of solidworks. Everything went well except that in the end when I want to open solidworks nothing happens. I have an hourglass for half a second and then nothing like I didn't click. I noticed that there were 2 arrows at the top right of the icon, one pointing towards the other and I think this may be the cause of the problem... But I can't remove them.

I'm on Windows 10, 64 bits, core I7.

I've tried everything and nothing helps, what can I do?

Thank you for your help.

Hello

Have you attempted to repair the software??

Hello, have you done a ctrl+alt+delete to see if your process is still running in the task manager?

Your icon with the two arrows doesn't mean anything to me, could you send a "screenshot ?

Hello

I have the student version of Catia personally, I had a problem recently and the best thing I think is to reinstall the software. When you launch your software, go to the process to see if it's there. It is possible that your installation went wrong.

One last thing is you sure that your pc and the solid version are compatible (you never know)

For the two arrows, it may be Teamviewer...

Hello

Thank you for your answers.

I tried the software repair and nothing, plus there is nothing that opens in the task manager. I looked and the SW version is well compatible with my PC.

This is what the icon looks like.

thank you again for the help

Never seen this icon... Did you enter the license number during installation???

Hello

As explained on the following link: https://answers.microsoft.com/fr-fr/windows/forum/windows_10-other_settings/double-fl%C3%A8ches-bleues-sur-ic%C3%B4nes/f12961f5-f631-4ceb-b27e-30701ac20446?auth=1, these are icons of compressed files or folders, try to follow the solution given on the previous link to see if it works otherwise uncheck the "Compress content" box as explained and re-install SW.

Kind regards
