Multiple pdf printing

Hello

We are currently developing an automation method for the output of the plan.

I would like to know if anyone knows of a small software capable of multiple printing of pdfs depending on the format.

Same type as Axemble PowerPrint but for pdfs.

(We enter the list of pdfs in the software and depending on the format the software chooses the printer or plotter with a configured format)

To explain this, it is not possible to print the drawing files because the quantities are filled in by integration which then saves the pdf file with the quantities entered.

And we don't want to print at the time of the creation of the pdf because we check the pdfs

Hello

We use Axemble's Batch Converter.

It allows us to create our pdf and dxf in a single operation.

See you

Hello

You can try with:

Power print with PDFcreator as printer

@Remrem, I don't think it's about creation. But printing once the PDF is created.

@Sbadenis, at home we tinker to do that. I go to the default printer, I change the characteristics (type of format, etc)

Then I select all my PDFs in the folder (click + CTRL) => right click => print

Then new changes of the characteristics for a new format, etc etc

Obviously, this implies having these PDFs arranged by format. It's long and tedious (but less than opening them all ;) )

As coin37coin says, the goal is not to make the pdfs but to print a lot of plans of different format in Pdf.

Otherwise your coin37coin solution may be complicated because we sometimes print 200 or more plans at once and I can't see myself sorting them all before printing...

For gt22 the first solution seems to work on a printer (except repro software)

And the 2nd one is equivalent to PowerPrint, and therefore not to print pdfs but to print in pdf.

Edit: the last 2 solutions seem to correspond better I look at it more closely notamant with the trial version of the 2nd for 21 days.

And if anyone has a free alternative then this would be the foot!

Hello

And by going through a macro? Long and tedious, I admit, but once it's done...

Some (untested) avenues:

I have a Marco Solidworks made before I had the axemble solution which divides the plans of a file on different printers according to their format. I can share it if it helps.

Hello

Personally I use PDFTKbuilder, it groups PDFs into one.

1- open PDFTKbuilder

2-Drag the PDFs to link

3-always register to the same in law (personally I put it on the desk under the name of "bound pdf")

4-Pin "linked PDFs" to the Adobe Reader program (previously pinned), so once the linked PDF is created, all you have to do is right-click on Adobe Reader and open and print the "bound PDF".

I couldn't find faster^^.

Thank you for your answer Damoon, but in my case it is a pdf plan A4, A3 A2, A1, A0 and A0+.

And the A4 and A3 are printed on the photocopier and the rest on the plotter so your solution no longer works in this case.

Edit: here is the kind of software I'm looking for but with a function to configure the printer automatically  according to the paper size.

Edit2: SW's job scheduler does not allow you to print pdfs but only SW files, and moreover only allows you to print on a single printer. So not the right solution either.

I haven't found any commercial solutions that allow me to do what I want.

I fear that the solution of developing software in-house remains the only solution.

Thanks anyway for the leads.

Development of an in-house software in order to print pdfs in batches on a printer or plotter according to the paper format of the pdf
