Download the drivers after closing all anti viruses

Turn off the PC, plug in the printer

Turn on the printer, the PC will detect that it has new hardware and look for its driver

Good evening

and it does the same thing connected to a router as direct to a PC?

The printer I have is an hp officejet 5510,   I did several tests and nothing to do it always asks me for peripherals that can't be found.
