Insert the Material Library Property into a Part Family

Could someone tell me how to insert the matter property from a personal library in a room family.

Well not always at the same level I know that it is around "$BIBLIOTHEQUE:MATERIAUX@NOM OF PIECE"

 

The worst thing is that I managed to do it on two other components and there impossible.

I would like to understand how that works.

Hello

I myself never remember the syntax, so this is how I proceed.

Without a part family, I launch configure the material (right click on the materials)

I create 2 configs with 2 different subjects in the table

I then launch the part family in auto mode

And so you have the right syntax and in your case you have to add in the configuration boxes and not in the title  : "solidworks materials:name of the materials"

I reopened an original room and finally the property worked.

Weird, weird.

However, the Coyote technique works, a bit annoying when you modify an existing file.
