Inserting Frames in Drawing

Hello community.

I have created annotative blocks within my design office in order to locate certain information on my drawings.

This block consists of a text (annotative part of the block) and a line with a particular formatting.

However, when I insert my block into the MEP, the formatting of the line is not preserved although when I go over it, or enter the editing of the block, the formatting is there...

Do you have a lead?

Attached is the block in question

Thank you in advance

Which versions do you have? 2013 ?

Can you attach a screen print for those who have a different version of yours?

Yes I'm on SW2013.

That's what you want?

I found it

Insert your block, click on it and select the GY-TEXT layer

Hello

I used your block on one of my MEPs and I have your style as well as your image.

A question, why do you go through blocks? Can't you use Notes favorites that you put in a directory in your Feature Library? You could thus fill in the text of the note by pointing it to a property of the selected entity...

Kind regards

I think the best solution

is to make a tracing

on which you will place your block

that you will set up via the line and writing font settings tool

@GT22 no, you need the strong line line.

@JMSAVOY I use note templates to insert other notes than this one. The idea in this case was to insert the line and text at once.

Which version of SW do you use, because the result you get is the one I'm looking for???

You inserted the block into a particular layer???

Happydad

well you change the parameter of your line

Well, I get this (see image)

By clicking on the block and selecting your "GY-TEXT" layer

I agree but the idea is that it is automatic...

but once done in a tracing paper you just have to take it back and you're done

@ you to see if it can suit you

Yes, it's sure that it can do it....

The only thing that escapes me is that JMSAVOY got the expected result... Did he do a layer modification or another manipulation???

It is not possible to tell the block that it is in this precise layer in advance.

You have to select your slap in your mep (see image)

and insert your block

Even if in the MEP template, we put the layer with the arrow to select it???

See attached image

All the elements will be inserted into this layer...

No, select the layer as on my attached image

Insert your block

then go back to your base layer

In reality it was a story of layer, it was simply enough by default to put yourself in no layer and that's it, and that's it, and this in the MEP template...
