Manual insertion of construction lines

Hello

For a long time I have been facing a small problem that ends up costing me a lot of time:  In a drawing, it happens that the "Manual insertion of construction lines" function does not work when I select a cylindrical face. Yet these are indeed faces that are the result of revolution. I don't see any explanation for this problem.
So, I have to select the tangents, and I lose 1 second on each axis...
Does it also do it at home?

yes, and I didn't look more than that since it depends on the parts and the days...
