I was asking myself a question:
Can I install a version of SolidWorks via an administrative image for "fixed" licenses?
This installation method works wonderfully in the case of a floating license (i.e. a single Serial Number).
Yes, we can!
We manage both floating license and fixed license installs for certain workstations. Just manage it in the "sldAdminOptionEditor.exe" options by changing the license codes per seat.
Hello
Yes, you can, as indicated in the SolidWorks Installation Guide:
"You can deploy installations from an administrative image and then enable serial numbers from individual computers."

Since April 3rd, only one activation is allowed per fixed license number.
Kind regards

gt22 the link you gave is not related to the deployment of a fixed license via administrative image.
Indeed with the sldAdminOptionEditor.exe you can define, depending on the workstation, the fixed license number to install, so from the same image you can deploy as many serial numbers as you want ... Of course, if you give the same fixed license number several times for several workstations, then the activation of the second workstation will be impossible.
On the other hand, if I have 3 fixed licenses in "Standard" and 2 in "Premium" and one in "Pro", does it work too?

Install Solidworks easily on multiple workstations without going through an administrative image
Hello
Here is a small procedure to install Solidworks on several workstations without going through an administrative image, which is more restrictive for updates and installation modifications. Using an ISO image of a Solidworks DVD to deploy it on several workstations can be an interesting solution.

Hello
Having had a lot of poop in my widows I had to reinstall my solidworks (2013 & 2014)
OH big woe I couldn't do it every time it crashed for service pack updates.
So after a lot of testing, it is imperative to disable your antivirus when downloading the image and burn it to a DVD (DL) because my friend Avast found a trojan in EModelXlatorProERes.dll
So my image didn't work at first because of that.
