I just bought a computer with Windows 8. When installing solidworks 2013, I can no longer activate solidworks simulation and it is no longer in the add-ins. Does anyone know the reason?

Hello, the add-in probably hasn't been installed. You have to restart the installation from the DVD or the files.
You must reinstall SolidWorks and during the installation procedure, when it suggests which software to install, check what is checked. Then complete the reinstallation.
