Solidworks is compatible only with Windows so there is very little chance that it will work.

I remember a student friend that he installed it as a virtual machine, (solidworks and ansys) it even had good performance compared to other low-end pcs, on the other hand I am of the same opinion as @sbadenis, I don't think it will be functional for professional use.
On the net I found the 3dexperience platform, to see on this side

SOLIDWORKS cannot run directly on MacOS.
So, you need to install Windows on your Mac using an app such as Boot Camp
