Installing myCADtools Utilities

Hi all

I would like to try the following myCADtools utilities on SolidWorks in the near future:

  • Project Manager;
  • Integration.

But I don't know how the myCADtools utilities are installed.

Do we install all the utilities at once?

Or do you have to choose which utilities you want to install?

I ask this question in particular in relation to the cost of myCADtools.

That is, if I install one or more utilities, will the cost be the same or different?

Hello,

It seems to me that it's a complete package, we install everything.

To my knowledge, there is no "Ă  la carte" license, but there is a 30-day trial to test...

myCADtools is part of the myCADservices Premium offer. It is a package that contains  a number of tools and services with a single price.

I just did a search among the software available through our IT department.

I saw that myCADtools 2022 was available.

But I'm using SolidWorks 2020.

Is it possible to use myCADtools 2022 with SolidWorks 2020?

Or do the versions have to match (2020 with 2020, 2022 with 2022, etc.)?

Without any problem, the utility is backwards compatible.

I'm in Mycadtools 2021 with SW2020.
