Inventor 2016 thread to 3d printer

Hello I use Inventor 2016

My concern is when I create a thread and I do:

Preview before 3D printing my thread does not appear

It appears on my piece just in drawing

how to dig it so that I can print it

thank you in advance

Hello

The thread must be created geometrically to print it, by making a helical sweep with the dimensions related to the dimensions of the thread.

But be careful, depending on the printing technology and the size of the threads, it may not print the thread well.

For example, on a wire deposition printer with a minimum layer thickness (0.17mm) I don't print a net with a pitch below 1.1 mm, basically below M8 it's not great at all.
